Systems Engineer - Data-Driven Engineering

At NIRA Dynamics, your analyses become software improvements deployed in production vehicles from some of the world's leading automotive manufacturers.

As we continue to strengthen our Customer Delivery team, we are looking for a Systems Engineer who is passionate about solving technical challenges, understanding complex systems and transforming data into high-performing software solutions. Is this the opportunity that you are looking for?

About the role

As a Systems Engineer, you will become an important part of our Customer Delivery team, where we adapt and optimize NIRA's embedded software for global automotive customers. You will be responsible for understanding customer requirements and planning vehicle data collection to analysing results, optimizing system performance and validating solutions before production release.

The role combines analytical thinking, signal processing, engineering judgement and practical problem solving. You'll work with real vehicle data, identify performance improvements and continuously refine our products together with software developers, Technical Leads and Customer Project Managers.

 You will also contribute to improving how we work by developing tools, refining workflows and exploring new ways to increase efficiency and quality. This includes using AI tools where relevant – for example to support analysis, automate repetitive tasks or improve productivity.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

Required qualifications: 

  • MSc in Engineering or equivalent technical education.
  • At least three years of relevant systems engineering experience.
  • Experience with Matlab or similar engineering tools.
  • Knowledge or interest in signal processing.
  • Interest in using AI tools for engineering analysis, automation or productivity improvements.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Customer Project Manager

Lead international customer projects for some of the world's leading automotive manufacturers. As our Customer Delivery organization continues to grow, we are looking for a Customer Project Manager who enjoys combining technical understanding, leadership and customer collaboration in a fast-moving international environment.

About the role

As a Customer Project Manager, you will become one of the key people responsible for ensuring successful customer deliveries throughout the complete project lifecycle.

You will coordinate customer project with the responsibility of balancing technical, commercial and operational aspects while ensuring deliveries meet quality, timing and customer expectations. Working closely with our engineering teams, you will allocate resources, coordinate priorities, facilitate communication and create the best possible conditions for the project teams to succeed.

The role includes close collaboration with customers across Europe and Asia as well as daily interaction with colleagues in Linköping.

Depending on your interests, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to business development, process improvements and new ways of working, including how AI can support more efficient project execution.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

Required qualifications: 

  • BSc or MSc in Engineering, or equivalent technical education.
  • Several years of project management experience or another technical leadership role.
  • Experience managing projects throughout the complete project lifecycle.
  • Strong communication skills in international environments.
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work in a structured and well-documented manner.
  • Class B driving licence.

It is meritorious if you have experience from the automotive industry as well as a background within a software or hardware company.

Customer Success Manager – Road Asset Management

We're looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our headquarters in Linköping. This is more than a traditional Customer Success Manager role; you’ll combine customer engagement with product analysis and domain expertise, acting as the link between our customers and product teams. By turning customer insights into innovative solutions, you’ll help shape the next generation of digital road infrastructure while becoming a go-to-partner to our customers.

Your role and team

As a Customer Success Manager, you are the primary contact for our customers and are responsible for ensuring their long-term success with our connected product portfolio. You'll work closely with customers to understand their challenges, help them maximize the value of our solutions, and act as a bridge between customer needs and product development.

You will join a team of three Customer Success Managers and work closely with our developers, architects, product managers, sales & business developers. Together, we combine deep domain expertise with cross-functional collaboration to develop solutions that create real value for our customers.

The role includes occasional travel to customer sites and industry events, primarily within Europe.

Your key responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships.
  • Support customers through onboarding, use-case analysis, training, and ongoing guidance on our products, dashboards, and analytics tools.
  • Manage customer and commercial administration.
  • Keep customers informed about the product roadmap, new features, and best practices.
  • Continuously improve customer processes by streamlining deliveries and reducing manual work.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Data Scientists in an agile environment.
  • Contribute to the long-term development and digital transformation of the road infrastructure sector.

What we are looking for

Must-have:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or equivalent engineering discipline.
  • Experience in road infrastructure, road asset management, pavement management, or transportation systems.
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

It is considered an advantage if you have experience with:

  • Python
  • SQL
  • Strong understanding of road engineering principles and infrastructure maintenance process.
  • AI-assisted software development or coding tools
  • Professional proficiency in Swedish
