This Bachelor's Thesis will investigate and implement a lossless compression of NIRA data sets.

In NIRA products, there are parameter sets that is specific for different types of vehicles, tires and more. These parameters can be collected in a dataset and one dataset can contain several mapping blocks.
Investigate and implement compression and decompression of a dataset for less footprint in ROM with limited amount of CPU and RAM.
We are looking for two engineering students studying a Bachelors's program with a specialization in Computer or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent. Knowledge within any of the following areas is beneficial:
NIRA uses Bazel as build system and Git as code version control system.
We expect you to have a solid academic record, be driven, take initiative, and work independently. You will be carrying out the thesis at our head office in Linköping.
